Oralia Cruz

Oralia Cruz 59, passed away in Harlingen, Texas Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born In San Benito, Texas on July 18, 1964, to Everardo & Romana Loyoya Martinez.

Oralia had 30 years in the Optometry Profession and serve 11 years as a General Manager for Eyemart Express.  She enjoyed attending San Benito Greyhound football games, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Oralia is preceded in death mother Romana Martinez, father Everardo Cruz, brother Rogelio Martinez, niece Debrah Ann Vela, Niece Esmeralda Vela, and her mother-in-law Beatriz Cruz.

Left to cherish her memory will be her husband Oscar Cruz, son Mark Anthony Cruz (Amber Nicole Machuca), her brothers: Pedro Martinez, and Roberto Martinez, sisters: Lupita Vega, Rosalinda Losoya, and Maria Elena Canales. Her best friend Paula Morgan. 

Visitation will be held at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home Saturday, September 30th from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Honor to serve as pallbearers will be Oscar Cruz, Mark Anthony Cruz, Pedro Martinez, Jaime Vega Sr., Jaime Vega Jr., Manuel Cruz, and Fernancio Cruz. Honorary Pallbearers: Roberto Martinez, Lupita Vega, Rosalinda Losoya, Stephanie Vega, Amber N. Machuca, Paula Morgan, Brad Morgan, and Lisa Cruz
