Andrea Rebecca (Ratliff) Rodriguez, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on December 14, 1932, in San Benito, Texas, she was the daughter of Fred and Rebecca Ratliff. Our Lord has welcomed our precious, beautiful, and loving mother into paradise. We thank our Lord God for having blessed us with her for 92 years and also with the privilege of allowing us time to care for her loving and comforting by her bedside. Our mom who we deeply love will forever be in our hearts.

In her life, Andrea was known not only as a devoted foster parent but also as a woman of deep faith in the Christian tradition. Her passions included singing, dancing, listening to music, gardening, and collecting antiques, which brought her great joy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Rebecca Ratliff; her loving sons, Robert R. Rodriguez Jr. and Reynaldo R. Rodriguez; her brothers, Ricardo, Frank, and Fred Ratliff Jr.; her sisters, Raquel R. Garcia, Janie Ortiz, Maria Roble R. Benavides, Rosita Ratliff, and Andrea Ratliff; her husband, Roberto R. Rodriguez, Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Eduardo “Lalo” Benavides and David B. Miller; and her son-in-law, Steve Aguilar, Jr.

Andrea is survived by her children, Rose Ratliff Rodriguez, Ruth R. Treviño (Carlos), Ruby R. Aguilar, and Rowena Ratliff Rodriguez; her daughter-in-law, Debra G. Rodriguez; as well as her grandchildren Mark A. Rodriguez, Aaron Rodriguez, Adam Rodriguez, Rowena T. Piña (Robert), Reynaldo R. Trevino (Sirena), Raeanne Dominguez (Robert), Rhianna Rodriguez, Ramanda R. Ayala (Aaron), Robert Ray Rodriguez, Rebecca L. Aguilar, Steve Aguilar III, and Stephanie Ann Aguilar. She also leaves behind two sisters, Rosalva Ratliff Miller, Ruby Ratliff Leal, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers, Emiliano Jimenez, Elda Gonzales, Esmeralda and Charles Chavana, the hospice nurses of Del Cielo and Angel Bright from Corpus Christi, Texas, and her granddaughter, Rhianna Rodriguez who helped care for Andrea.

The Rodriguez family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Andrea will be laid to rest at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mark A. Rodriguez, Robert Ray Rodriguez, Reynaldo R. Trevino, Robert Piña, Christobal Rojas Jr., and Josue E. Rojas. Carlos S. Treviño will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Andrea will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
