Andrew John Agven, 22, passed away on July 8, 2026, in Los Fresnos, Texas. Born on July 8, 2004, in Harlingen, Texas, Andrew was the son of Wayne Robert Agven and Cynthia Anne Marie Agven.

A dedicated contractor for a year, Andrew was of the Christian faith and found joy in mechanic work, craftsmanship, and video games, particularly Rainbow Six and Day-Z.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Robert Agven, his grandfather, Vernon Axle Agven, and his grandmother, Paula Vasquez.

Andrew is survived by his mother, Cynthia Agven, and his siblings: Robert Axle Agven, Michael Wayne Agven, Jenna Marie Agven, Alex Matthew Agven, and Maximus Darrin Agven. He also leaves behind his partner of six years, Mackenzie Belsole; his uncles, Wilhelm Agven, Gilbert Vasquez, and Damian Vasquez; his aunt Roxanne Vasquez; as well as many cousins.

The Agven family will receive friends and family on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude Monday evening.
