Anita Vasquez, a woman of faith and fervor, entered eternal rest on July 3, 2023. Born on May 17, 1938, Anita graced this world with her gentle spirit, and her kindness resonated in all her endeavors.

Anita attended the Church, St. Joseph with an unwavering belief in her Catholic faith. Her devotion was evident in her daily life, as she embodied the teachings of love, forgiveness, and charity. Anita's life was a testament to the power of love. Her profound love for her husband, José Vasquez, was a beacon that illuminated their paths until his untimely departure. She was also predeceased by her beloved daughter, Dalia Camacho, whose memory she carried in her heart.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Norma L. Garcia, San Juana (Janie) Hernandez and Yvette Vasquez-Slaton. Her legacy of love, faith, and strength continues to live on through them. Anita's nurturing spirit was a guiding force in their lives, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, resilience, and dedication.

Anita Vasquez's passing has left a void that is impossible to fill. However, she will be remembered for her beautiful soul, her unwavering faith, and the impact she made on those around her. As we say our final goodbyes, we honor her memory by living out the values she instilled and treasure the love she shared. May her soul rest in eternal peace. Her legacy of love, faith, and strength continues to live on through them. Anita's nurturing spirit was a guiding force in their lives, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, resilience, and dedication. However, she will be remembered for her beautiful soul, her unwavering faith, and the impact she made on those around her.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.   A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 o’clock on Thursday evening.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
