Audencia "Lencha" G. Juarez, 92, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, in Harlingen, Texas. Born on November 13, 1933, in San Benito, Texas, she was the daughter of Pedro G. Gonzalez and Luisa Lugo Gonzalez.
Lencha was an active member of the Lioness Club and Jaycee Club and served as a Cub Scout Den Mother. A devoted Catholic, she attended St. Benedict Catholic Church.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Lencha also took pleasure in selling Avon, dancing, listening to music, and cooking, especially her fried chicken.
Preceded in death by her son, Overlin Eli Juarez, her husband, Reynaldo Juarez, her parents, Pedro and Luisa Gonzalez, and siblings, Celia Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez, Genoveva Gonzalez, Basilia Agado, Ovidio I Gonzalez, and Pedro Gonzalez Jr. Lencha leaves behind a loving family.
Lencha is survived by her children, Arnoldo R. Juarez (Dean Whiteside) and Rolando Juarez (Lupita), her grandchildren Overlin Eli Juarez (Vanessa) and Victor Manual Juarez (Heaven), and her great-grandchildren Sophia Penelope Juarez and Julieta Olivia Juarez. She also leaves behind her siblings, Elisa Farias, Sarah Galvan, Dora Garcia (Jesus), Richard Gonzalez (Dorothy), Ramiro Gonzalez (Norma), and Mary Lou Gonzalez.
The family expresses their gratitude to Martha Care Home for the compassionate care provided to Lencha.
The Juarez family will receive friends and relatives on June 29, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral home with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Overlin Juarez, Victor Juarez, Jaime Juarez, Edward Garcia, Christian Flores, and Jacob Flores.
