Betty G. Kennedy

Betty G. Kennedy, 85, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025. Born on May 20, 1940, in Rector, Arkansas, Betty was an amazing woman whose life was a testament to love and dedication.

She was married to the love of her life, James C. Kennedy, from 1958 until his passing in 2019. They lived in Fort Worth for many years before retiring to Harlingen, Texas.

To her daughters, Denise Dunlevy and Crystal Wilkins, Betty was a best friend and their biggest supporter. She dedicated her life to her family, sacrificing in ways her children will never knew, always making sure they felt loved and cherished.

Everyone who was fortunate enough to know her was in awe of her grace and dignity that she carried herself with. She was a great cook and loved her plants and flowers. Playing in water as she always called it. She was an avid sports watcher. She loved old westerns, reading and music. She brought warmth and happiness to everyone she met.

Betty was loved more than any words can say. She will be missed for the rest of her children’s lives. She will live in her family’s hearts forevermore.

Finally, the family asks that donations be made in living memory of Betty go to American Heart Association. At this time no services will be held.
