Carlota Z. Narvaez

Carlota Zamudio Narváez peacefully passed from this life on February 8, 2023 at seventy-five years of age. Born July 11, 1947 in Los Indios, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Nicolás and María Isabel Zamudio.

Carlota’s parents preceded her in death.

Left to treasure her memory is her husband, Hipolito L. “Polo” Narváez; daughters, Emilia A. (Eduardo) Garcia and Dora L. (Antonio) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Richard Paul (Ashley) Garcia, Eduardo Garcia Jr., Emily Rose Gonzalez, and Antonio L. Gonzalez; and great-granddaughters, Aaliyah and Delilah Palacios.

The Narvaez family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 o’clock on Monday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Following the Mass, Carlota will be laid to rest at Los Cuates Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Eduardo Garcia, Eduardo Garcia Jr., Cody Taylor, Antonio Gonzalez III, Antonio L. Gonzalez IV, and Ramiro Gonzalez. Richard Paul Garcia will serve as honorary pallbearer.
