Celfa G. (Gonzalez) Zuniga

Celfa G. Zuniga, 58, passed from this life on March 6, 2021 after a brief illness.  She was born to the late Santiago Gonzalez and Elida Alfaro Gonzalez on July 7, 1962 in Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Celfa was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Elida A. Gonzalez.

Left to treasure Celfa’s memory is her loving husband, Ruben Zuniga, Sr.; children, Maribel Zuniga (James), Ruben Zuniga, Jr. (Daniela), and Ricardo Zuniga; grandchildren, Angelina, Alyssa, James Jr., and Victoria; siblings, Manuela Cisneros (Javier) and Febe Claudio (Joel); and, numerous nieces and nephews.

The Zuniga family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A graveside service and interment will take place on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at San Benito Memorial Park (City Cemetery).
