Christopher Glenn Pearrow

November 15, 1980 — July 3, 2025

Palm Valley, Texas

Christopher Glenn Pearrow, a resident of Palm Valley, Texas, son of William “Glenn” Pearrow, and Jolene Mehaffey Pearrow, was born on November 15th, 1980, in Mesquite Texas. Christopher contracted spinal meningitis at 10 ½ months. After a two week stay in the hospital he was released and made a full recovery. His family attributed the recovery to prayers, and the skill of Dr. Stanley Fisch and the team of nurses at Valley Baptist Hospital.

Christopher grew into a strong capable young man. His life was full of challenges, but he never complained. He was not interested in money, except to pay for life's essentials, and his gaming computer, which was always State of the art. Christopher's gamer handle, Lord Ovie, followed him through adulthood. Christopher pursued his passions through his occupation. He worked as a retail specialist for an ammunition company, and attended gun shows across Texas. Christopher found he liked the driving aspect of the job, so when the ammo company closed shop, he became a delivery driver. Christopher delivered food, pizza. He liked the service aspect, plus the flexible hours. Christopher also worked for a medical transport company, driving patients to appointments, waiting, and then returning them home. During the last 4 years of his life, he drove for a rideshare company. Chris was fiercely independent, he lived his life on his terms, never bending to society's expectation.

Christopher was diagnosed with severe heart disease in the fall of 2024. He had several hospital stays, a stint implanted, and a defibrillator/pacemaker implant. Through all of these challenges, he continued to do his best to remain independent. He continued to work as a rideshare driver as his health would allow. In fact, he made one final trip the night before he passed away. Unfortunately, Christopher was called home to God on July 3rd. He died after collapsing on his way to an appointment in Harlingen Texas.

Christopher is survived by his parents, Glenn and Jolene Pearrow, his grandmother, Virginia Pearrow, and his sister, Jennifer Pearrow-Radaideh, his brother in law, Joe Radaideh, and his niece, Amber Radaideh.

Christopher was an organ and tissue donor, so his final act of service was his body. His selflessness helped up to 100 people, some to see again, and some to receive vital tissue. Christopher was a Christian and lived and died in service. There will be no public service, but the family would like to request that any offering of support be directed to the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance.
