Dimas Edward Romero

Dimas Edward Romero, age 48, passed away on November 23, 2025, in Englewood, Colorado. He was born on January 7, 1977, in San Benito, Texas, to Jesus Romero and Maria Minerva Ramirez Romero.

Dimas dedicated 20 years of his career to Wal-Mart, followed by three years with Frenchman Valley Produce in Nebraska, and two years with Assemblers. He was a devoted father who cherished attending his children’s school events. In his leisure time, Dimas found joy in barbecuing, cooking, and working on vehicles, as well as spending quality time with family and friends. He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need and formed lasting friendships within the Nebraska community during his time there.

Dimas is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria Minerva Romero, as well as his siblings, Oscar, Cesar, Sylvia, and Jesus "Jessie" Romero. He is survived by his beloved children: Amber, Edward, Jason, and Denise; three grandchildren; and siblings Leticia Del Valle (Sostenes), Maria Mendoza (Quirino), Luis Romero (Nelda), and Martha Simental (Jaime). He is also survived by his aunt, Dora Romero Rodriguez, and cousins: Jesus, Carlos, and Mike Villegas, Vidal Torres, Rey Amaya, and Monica Pequeno.

The Romero family expresses their gratitude to the community, friends, and family for their support during this time, as well as the faculty and staff at HCA HealthONE Swedish in Englewood, Colorado.

The Romero family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at San Benito Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Luis Angel Romero, Edward Romero, Guadalupe Esparza Jr., Quirino Mendoza III, Damian Romero, and Jermiah Osorio. Honorary pallbearers are Luis Romero and Jason Romero.
