Eduardo Leines

Eduardo “Lalo” Leines of Lozano, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He was born to Gilberto Leines and Alicia Arenas Rodriguez on March 29, 1994. He was a graduate of Rio Hondo High School, Class of 2012. After graduating from RHHS, he proudly served in the U.S. Army from 2012 to 2016.

Lalo was loved and cherished by so many; he was the life of the party and always found the good in the bad. He always strived to work hard for his wife and kids, making sure to show his love for his parents and always being there for his sister and brothers.

Left to treasure Lalo’s memory are his sons, Dante (12) and Elios (6); their mother, Jhovana Gonzalez; his parents, Gilberto and Alicia Leines; his siblings, Gina, Alicia, Carolina, Norma, Gilberto, Nick, Albert, and Julie; and his nieces and nephews, Marcy, Mary, Jr, Melanie, David, Melinda, Leander, Brianna, Aaron, Alyssa, Isabel, and Leo.

The Leines family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Following the service, Eduardo will be laid to rest with full military honors at San Benito Memorial Park.

Gone too soon, but Lalo will never be forgotten.
