Felipe Garcia, Jr.

Felipe Garcia, Jr., a native of Los Fresnos, Texas, peacefully passed from this life on July 14, 2021.  He was born to the late Felipe Garcia, Sr. and Esperanza Puente Garcia on March 16, 1952.

Felipe was a graduate of San Benito High School and attended trade school in Michigan where he studied Horticulture - Nursery and Greenhouse Science.  He was retired from Avant Premium Water & Ice where he was as a technician until his retirement.

He is survived by his loving wife, Blanca Celia Garcia; children, Eddie Levi Garcia, Cyndi Estrella Garcia of Albion, Michigan, Myra Denise Garcia, Reuben Alex Garcia, and Markus Felix Garcia of San Benito; and, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Felipe was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe. Sr. and Esperanza P. Garcia; siblings, Aurora Jaramillo, Ernesto Garcia, Rodolfo Garcia, Raul Garcia, and Anita Garcia.

The Garcia family wishes to thank the Coronary Care Unit employees, nursing personnel, and 4th Floor Comfort personnel of Valley Baptist Medical Center – Harlingen.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.  Funeral services for Felipe Garcia, Jr. will conclude on Sunday evening.
