Floyd J. Ratcliff, Jr.

Floyd J. Ratcliff Jr., 67, passed away June 23, 2021 after a brief illness.  He was born to the late Floyd J. Ratcliff Sr. and Leona Spear on July 6, 1953 in Brownsville, Texas.

He attended school in San Benito and Pt. Isabel and later served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Chilton (LPA-38). He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his service during the Vietnam War.

Floyd was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Sr., his mother, Leona Spear, brother, Alan Ratcliff, and stepfather, Frank Spear.

He is survived by his daughters, Debra Ratcliff and Amber Redmond, and four grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
