Gerald J. Saucedo, 70, passed away May 18, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born November 12, 1954, in Weslaco, Texas to Guadalupe Saucedo and Paula Martinez.
Gerald attended Morgan Hill High School in California and furthered his education with a scholarship to San Jose State College. Over his impressive career spanning more than 40 years, he held various management positions at notable companies including CVS, H.E.B., Office Depot, Staples, and Target. In addition to his professional achievements, Gerald was a published author, best known for his work, *People of the Fields*. He practiced his faith as a member of the Catholic Church and was a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys, supporting the team since the 1960s.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Junior, Myrna, and Javier. Gerald is survived by his wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Saucedo; his sisters, Margie Montalvo and Melissa Caldwell (Randy); as well as seven nephews and three nieces. He is also survived by his beloved dog, TK.
