Guadalupe C. Sandoval

Guadalupe C. Sandoval, 78, peacefully passed away on May 10, 2025, in San Benito, Texas. She was born on September 28, 1946, to Carlos Carrizales Sr. and Antonia P. Carrizales in San Benito.

A devoted member of the Centro de Alabanza Y Poder, Guadalupe enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, and engaging in various crafts

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her husband, Adalberto Sandoval Sr.; her son, Gilberto Sandoval Sr.; her parents, Carlos Carrizales Sr. and Antonia P. Carrizales; and her brother, Heraclio Carrizales.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her children Noelia S. Valladarez (Humberto Valladarez Jr.†), Adalberto Sandoval Jr. (Linda), Idalia S. Morales (Santos), Alberto Sandoval Sr. (Araceli), Norberto Sandoval Sr. (Gracie), and Humberto Sandoval Sr. (Jessica), along with 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.

The family expresses gratitude to the Centro de Alabanza Y Poder Church, Gentiva Hospice, and Harlingen Medical Center for their support during this time.

The Sandoval family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Centro De Alabanza Y Poder, 297 S. McCullough St., San Benito, Texas. Following the service, Guadalupe will be laid to rest at El Naranjo Cemetery in El Ranchito (San Benito).

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Humberto Valladarez III, Alberto Sandoval Jr., Roberto Sandoval, Norberto Sandoval Jr., Nathan Edward Sandoval, Nielberto Sandoval, Desirae Lynn Cabrera, and Humberto Sandoval Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Jose Luis “Jey” Lopez III, Jaiden Isaiah “Bean” Lopez, and Miguel Antonio “Mikey” Alvarado Jr.
