Herminia Garcia

Herminia Garcia, 98, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024 in Harlingen, Texas.  She was born to the late Calistro and Jovita Garcia on March 18, 1925 in San Benito, Texas.

Herminia was an employee of Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, where she was employed as an LVN.   She was of the Catholic faith and loved fishing.

Left to treasure Herminia’s memory are Oralia Romero, Melissa Rivas (Roy Gamez), Angelynn Delgado, Dolores Rivas (Isidro), Merced Cantu, Blanca Garza (Rogelio), Belia Cantu, Bea Cantu, Linda Cantu and family, Eric Garza (Jasmine Flores), Angel Carr, Jose Rivas III; Veronica Rivas (Enrique Torres) and family.

The Garcia family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.  A prayer service will begin at 7 o’clock Thursday evening.   A graveside service will take place on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi, Texas 78408.
