John Ellis Webster

John  Ellis Webster, known as Johnny, 79, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at his home in Harlingen, Texas surrounded by family.

John was born in Spottsville, KY on March 25, 1944 to Leda Forrester Webster and John L. Webster.  He grew up in Evansville, IN where he graduated from Central High School in 1962. He then became a Refrigeration Steamfitter for Local UA #136 for 49 years.

John married his wife of 41 years, Lorraine, on February 10, 1982 in Las Vegas, NV.

Known for his sense of humor and ability to make people laugh, he was always able to put a smile on people's faces.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine, son Darren (Pam) Webster and stepson Alan Wheelock.
Grandchildren Ashley Webster, Zachary Wilson, Derik (Trista) Webster, Alexis Barnard and Avery Wheelock. 4 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
