He was a pillar of the community and was always willing to help anyone in need. Through his work, he built lasting relationships and served his neighbors with honesty, humility, and generosity.
In addition to his business, Juan farmed for most of his life, demonstrating perseverance and a deep respect for God’s creation. He retired just over six years ago. Throughout his life, he pursued many business ventures, including working as a contractor building several homes in the Lower Valley. He also owned and operated a shrimp boat, La Quina, named in honor of his late father.
Juan’s love for his wife, Maria, was profound beyond measure. Their marriage was built on devotion, companionship, and shared joy. They treasured their time together — gathering with family, visiting their favorite local restaurants, and traveling side by side whenever they had the chance. Whether it was a simple outing or a special trip, they found happiness in each other’s presence. Their bond was evident to all who knew them, and their life together was a beautiful example of enduring love, partnership, and friendship.
Juan was a man of strong Christian values who lived his life guided by faith, integrity, and trust in the Lord. He was known for his kind heart, quiet strength, and selfless nature. He always put those he loved before himself and lived a life to the fullest for his children.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want… Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
