Judy Kay (Kirschman) McKiver

Judy Kay (Kirschman) McKiver, age 79, of Shakopee MN, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

Judy was born August 29, 1946, in Britton, SD. She loved growing up in Pierpont, SD where she participated in 4-H and the Lutheran League. Judy played the clarinet for the Pierpont Panthers and sang in the school choir.

Judy married the love of her life, Gary of Stratford, SD on July 6, 1963. They moved to MN in 1968 and settled in Shakopee in 1969.

Judy was a talented artist. She created numerous paintings and crocheted many blankets, all treasures to those who have received them. She was also an avid doll collector and enjoyed being a part of various doll clubs and shows.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Edna (Langager) Kirschman; husband Gary; and sister LaVonne Raap. She is survived by her children, Kyle (Connie), Karl (Dan Clausen), Kari McKiver; grandson Samuel Clausen-McKiver; sisters Karleen Holler, Ruth Rademacher; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Homer Cemetery in Pierpont, SD at a later date.
