Karen Lizeth Orantes Gonzalez

Karen Lizeth Orantes Gonzalez, 30, died on July 24, 2020 in a car accident near Schulenburg, Texas. She was born on October 20, 1989 to Hilda Luz Gonzalez Orantes and Rafael Orantes in Weslaco, Texas.

She was a graduate of San Benito High School and was employed as a Marketer with a dental office in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

Karen loved baking, football, social media, nails, hair, and texting her husband, sister, and daughter 24/7.

Karen is survived by her husband, Miguel Gonzalez; daughter, Kelsi Marie Gonzalez; brothers, Manuel Orantes and Luis Orantes; sister, Sarahi Orantes; and her parents, Rafael and Hilda G. Orantes.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.  A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m.  A graveside service will take place Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at San Benito Memorial Park (SB City Cemetery).
