Katherine Brenneman Krabill

Katherine Brenneman Krabill was called Home on March 31, 2023 at the age of 102. She was born February 12, 1921 to the late Elmer and Gertrude Miller Brenneman in Washington Township, Iowa.

Katherine and her late husband, Milburn, were prayer warriors. They prayed daily for each member of their family. After his passing, she continued praying every day for her family members. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening and baking. She also enjoyed quilting and was a third-generation quilter.

She joins in Heaven her husband, Milburn Rich Krabill; daughter, Gloria Vassberg; son, M. Terry Krabill; and granddaughter, Ashley Krabill.

Left to treasure Katherine’s memory and honor her legacy are her children, Gretta Prosser, Karen (Gene) Wheeler, Sheila (John) Kibler, and daughter-in-law, Linda Krabill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Laura (David) Carey, Matt Holley, Lia (Thomas) Smith, Dawn (Steve) Gering, Tim (Marian) Vassberg, Todd (Teri) Wheeler, Kathi (Billy) Purdum, Tedd (Lisa) Wheeler, Amanda (Emil) Seikaly, W. Jason (Lori) Kibler, and Jeff Kibler; her great-grandchildren,  Olivia Carey, Kathleen (Billy) Chanthavisouk, Jordan (Marie) Smith, Emma Smith, Trajan, Karsten and Cade Gering, Katelyn, Ben and Nathan Wheeler, Kasey, Tyler and Riley Purdum, Michael and Ashley Seikaly, Josiah, Annabelle, Naomi and Emily Kibler, and John Wayne Kibler; and great-great-grandchildren, Kennedy Ball and Kassian Chanthavisouk.

Kathrine’s family wishes to thank Pastor Steve Wiest; Linda “B” Bustinza of High Point Home Health Care; Veronica Ramos, Yesenia Almanza, and Sondra Fabila of Opus Hospice; and her caregivers, Tanya Cain and Courtney Nunez.

The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Combes. A celebration of Katherine’s life and of God’s faithfulness will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Wiest officiating.  Private family entombment at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
