Kirtland Alexander Campbell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kirtland Alexander Campbell, age 57, on April 24, 2025. Kirtland was a devoted husband, loving father, and a cherished friend to all who knew him. He was a man whose life was a testament to kindness, faith, and generosity.

Born in White Settlement, TX, Kirtland’s warmth and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was known for his selflessness—always ready to lend a helping hand—and his faith in God was the foundation upon which he built his life. Whether it was through a kind word or a small act of service, Kirtland had a way of making others feel seen and valued.

Kirtland was a proud member of the Walmart family and a former letter carrier with the United States Postal Service in Corpus Christi, TX. He also devoted 16 years to Spectrum Cable Company. Above all, Kirtland was committed to helping his family, his community, and his church. He was a member of Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana Espiritual in San Benito, TX, where he served with dedication and faithfulness. Kirtland’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dora, his son, Mathew (Iris Gracia) and his father, Charles. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends, all of whom will deeply miss his gentle soul and unwavering love.

The Campbell family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A prayer service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening. A funeral service will take place Friday, May 2, 2025, at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Following the service, Kirtland will be laid to rest at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
