Lana Lynn Gibson

Lana Lynn Gibson, 71, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on June 24, 2026. Born May 14, 1955, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of Arnold Ralph Evans and Ethel Janett Marsee Evans.

Lana was a woman of diverse talents and interests. After earning her GED, she embarked on a varied career as a model, bookkeeper, retail worker, and eventually owned a karaoke business. She was a devoted member of the Catholic faith. Lana cherished her leisure time, often spending it painting, singing, swimming, visiting the beach, and enjoying horses.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Evans, her nephew, John Ring, and her father, Arnold Ralph Evans. She is survived by her mother, Ethel Evans, her husband, Nathan Wayne Gibson, and her daughter, Mieka Garrison (Speir).

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff at Valley Baptist Medical Center for their compassionate care during her illnesses.
