Larry M. Rayl

We are sad to announce the passing of Larry Michael Rayl of Port Mansfield, Texas on July 11, 2022 at the age of 75.

Larry was born April 4, 1947 in East Liverpool Ohio to parents George and Roxie Rayl. After graduating from PSJA High School, Larry served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. After being discharged, Larry married the love of his life, Debbie Murtaugh, and spent 49 wonderful years together, raising their three children, Krystine, Steven, and Brian. During his free time, Larry could usually be found snuggling with his beagles, on the water fishing, or on a ranch somewhere hunting.

He was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Debbie Jean Rayl, his parents, George and Roxie Rayl, and his puppies, Daisy May, Suzie Q, and Maggie.

Larry will be loved and missed every day by those who survive him: daughter, Krystine Michelle Martinez and husband Luis Martinez; two sons, Steven Michael Rayl and wife Lia, Brian David Rayl and wife Tory; his beloved beagles, Molly, Missy, and Millie; six grandchildren, Austyn Rayl, Baylee Rayl, Corbyn Rayl, Shelby Martinez, Rylie Martinez; two great grandchildren, Jayden and Josiah; two sisters, Karen Tepper and husband Tom, and Nancy Sheldon and husband Ed; and three sister-in-laws that he still considers sisters, Freda Levya, Pat Evetts, Michelle Kirby; as well as a host of very dear friends and family around the world.
