Lois Jean Burns

Jeannie Burns passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2021 in Harlingen, Texas. She was the daughter of John F.  and Betty Goodman, long-time valley residents, both of which are now deceased. Except for a brief period as a child, she lived her entire life in Harlingen and the Rio Grande Valley. She was a graduate of Harlingen High School and attended college classes locally. She worked as a bookkeeper, managed a telecommunications company and was a mortgage broker. She had been in declining health in recent years.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Linda and Billy Bull of La Feria, TX and her brother and sister-in-law John R. and Susan Goodman of Raleigh, NC.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
