Margarita M. Garza

Margarita M. Garza, 79, went home to be with the Lord late Monday afternoon, April 13, 2026, at Valley Baptist Medical Center.  She was born on April 13, 1947, to Juan Marroquin & Josefa Esparza Marroquin of Harlingen, Texas.  Margarita was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, & Friend.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Juan Marroquin & Josefa Esparza Marroquin, Husband of 50 years, Adolfo Tamayo Garza, Jr., Sister Vicenta De Leon, and Grandson, Rogelio Marroquin, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her 7 children, Roberto Marroquin, Rogelio Marroquin, Melissa Gonzales of Minnesota, Adolfo Garza, III (Elisa Ann), Juan Antonio Garza, Perla Garza of Lake Jackson, and Ricky Joe Garza of San Antonio, 21 Grandchildren, Vanessa, April, Trisha, & Robert Marroquin, Jr., Amanda & Rogelio Marroquin, Jr., Melanie & Victor Gonzales, Rudy Garza of Corpus Christi, Aaron & Arielle Garza, Ayden Garza (Juan Antonio), Samuel, Samantha Lee, Christopher De La Rosa, Andrew, Jeremy, Ceana, Makayla, Adelynn, & Braylen Puente, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous stepchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
