Marion Louise Tieman

Marion Louise Tieman, 98, passed away peacefully at her residence following a short illness on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Marion was born on June 10, 1928, in Okanogan, Oklahoma, to Herbert and Mary Louise Harp. She had been a resident of San Benito for many years, where she made her home and became a valued member of the community.

Marion had a long and distinguished career with Southwestern Bell, dedicating more than 40 years of her life to the company. Her commitment to her work reflected her strong work ethic, dedication, and dependability.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Darleen McDonald and her husband, Robert; grandsons, Brandon McDonald and his wife, Melissa, and Clinton McDonald; and great grandchildren, Noah, Isaac, and Kailey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mary Louis Harp; her husband, Edward M. Tieman; her sister, Maxine West; and her brothers, Kenneth Harp and J.E. (Jack) Harp.

Marion will be remembered with love by her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
