Mary Elizabeth Barlow

Mary Elizabeth (Swoveland) Barlow passed from this life on December 10, 2022 at sixty-two years of age. She was born to Jerrold E. and Doris J. Woods on November 11, 1960 in Waco, Texas.

Mary was a proud graduate of San Benito High School, Class of 1980 and was a valued employee of San Benito CISD for twenty-five years.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed vacationing in the mountains. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and dearly loved the time she spent with her granddaughter.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Jerrold E. and Doris J. Woods, and her sister, Judy Parrish.

Left to treasure Mary’s memory are her sons, Patrick and Matthew Barlow; her granddaughter, Waverly; her siblings, Terry (JoAnn) Swoveland, Sheryl (Rex) Parrish, and Billie Floyd; brother-in-law, Randy W. Parrish; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her many friends.

A celebration of Mary’s life will take place Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.
