Monserrato Padilla, Jr.

Monserrato Padilla Jr., 66, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023 in San Benito.  He was born to Monserrato Padilla Sr. and Maria Elia Padilla on January 10, 1957 in Victoria, Texas.

Monserrato attended and graduate from San Benito High School. He worked for San Benito School District in the Maintenance Department for 20 years.

In his leisure time Monserrato enjoyed riding his motorcycle, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Elia Padilla and Monserrato Padilla Sr., and his brother, Pedro Padilla.

Left to treasure his memory is his daughter, Norma Benavides; his grandchildren, Tyler Joe Benavides, Aron John Benavides, Emma Jeane Montalvo, Zachary Jorge Salinas and Catalina Monse Rosa Salinas; and his sisters, Maria Elena Cavazos and Gloria Garcia.

A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. Services will conclude Thursday evening.
