Olga M. Ramirez

Olga M. Ramirez, 69, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, in Brownsville, Texas. She was born April 26, 1956, in San Juan, Texas to Julio Moreno and Consuelo Luna Moreno.

A devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Los Fresnos, Olga found joy in various activities during her leisure time, including crocheting, gardening, reading, and coloring.

Olga is preceded in death by her beloved parents and five brothers: Jose Angel Moreno, Julio Moreno Jr., Modesto Moreno, Noe Moreno, and Jerardo Moreno. She is survived by her husband, Mauro G. Ramirez; her children, Olga Delma Gomez (Antonio), Laura Ortiz (Israel), and Veronica Sanchez (Juan Jr.); her grandchildren, Mauro Antonio Gomez (Angela Mondragon), Rebecca Gomez, Monika Isabelle Ortiz, Marcos Ortiz, Vanessa Ortiz, and Emily Ortiz; as well as one great-grandchild, Shelby Nicole Gomez, and her cherished pet, Luna.

The Ramirez family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A prayer service will begin at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Antonio Gomez, Mauro Antonio Gomez, Ruben J. Serrato, Juan Sanchez Jr., Marcos Ortiz, and Ernesto Manriquez. Honorary pallbearers are Mauro G. Ramirez and Israel Ortiz.
