Roberto Moreno

Roberto T. Moreno, 90, passed away on August 1, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. Born on May 9, 1936, in Rodriguez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, he was the son of Santana Moreno and Rosalia Torres. Roberto found joy in fishing, dancing, and singing.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria de los Angeles Moreno, his siblings Ramiro Moreno, Daniel Moreno, and Antonia Moreno, and his son, Pedro Moreno. He leaves behind a loving family, including his children Maria Antonia Moreno, Rosa Villalobes Moreno, Maria Moreno, Roberto Moreno, Elvia Moreno, Martha Moreno, Claudia Davila, as well as 42 grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren, and 37 great-great-grandchildren.

The Moreno family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Following the service Roberto will be laid to rest at the San Benito Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Rudy Rocha, William Moreno, Gabriel Vilano, Isaac Gutierrez, Antonio Gutierrrez, Carlos Noyola, Juan Pablo Rivas, Morrys Cantu, and Joshua Gonzales.
