Rolando Leos, 65, passed away peacefully April 22, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on August 2, 1959, in Brownsville, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juanita “Jane” Anzaldua, and his mother, Lydia Leos Aguirre.
Rolando is survived by his children: Adrian Leos; Lisa Cruz (Nicolas); Arturo Anzaldua; and Aaron Anzaldua (Cynthia). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Mia Adriana Leos, Izabella Mikayla Leos, Amelia Gabriella Pena, Logan Louis Leos, Albert Ethan Cruz, Anthony Cruz, Ashley Nicole Cruz, Aidan Anzaldua, Sierra Anzaldua, Kalyssa Anzaldua, Mila Anzaldua, Mario Anzaldua, and Messalinda Celia Anzaldua, as well as his great-grandchildren, Malichi Martinez and Ajay Cruz. He is also survived by his siblings: Raul Garza Jr. (Virginia), Rosalinda Longoria (Adan), Rodolfo Aguirre (Lupita), and Roberto Leos.
The Leos family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Following the service, Rolando will be laid to rest at El Carmen Cemetery in Brownsville, Texas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Adrian Leos, Raul Garza Jr., James Cortez, Nicolas Cruz, Albert Cruz, and Anthony Cruz.
