Susan M. Berberian

Susan M. Berberian, 68, wife of Bruce Berberian, MD, died suddenly at home on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Susan was born in Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York daughter of Max and Marie (Carlson) Levine on August 10, 1953.  She grew up in Wantaugh, NY and married Bruce Berberian on October 20, 1975, in Roxbury, NY. Susan and Bruce built a life together lasting 46 years. The two grew personally and professionally, eventually, settling in Harlingen in July 1997.

Susan is survived by her husband; sister, Anne Rudder of New York City, cousin-in-law David Wertlieb, PhD and his family in San Diego and Los Angeles, CA; cousin Amy Weishaus of Florida, cousins Peter Carlson, Alyce Snelker, Richard Carlson, and Charles Carlson all originally of Ft. Wayne, IN.

Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the afternoon on Sunday, the 9th of January 2022, at the Temple Beth Israel – Synagogue, 1702 E. Jackson Ave., Harlingen, Texas.
