Vanessa Olivarez

Vanessa Olivarez, aged 35, peacefully passed away on August 18, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. Born on April 25, 1990, in Weslaco, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Ambrocio and Cathy Olivarez. Vanessa was a devoted member of Wings of Faith Church in Santa Rosa, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, James Sr. and Hilda Colvin, and Jesus and San Juana Olivarez.

Vanessa is survived by her loving parents, Ambrocio and Cathy Olivarez; her brothers, Ambrocio Olivarez Jr. (Tanairi Barrera), Andres Olivarez, and James Colvin; as well as her cherished nieces and nephews: Isabelle Olivarez, Jose Barrera, Deziree Barrera, Christopher Barrera, Amos Olivarez, Camilaha Barrera, Kirito Olivarez, Azuna Olivarez, and Savannah Aguilar.

The Olivares family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. The services will conclude on Saturday evening.
