Vimmajean Hunt White

Vimmajean Hunt White (94) was born January 6, 1931 and on Monday, June 30, 2025 woke up in the arms of Jesus surrounded by family and friends who have been waiting for her. There to meet her was her beloved husband, Wayne White. Vimmajean is survived by her two daughters: Babs Gonzalez (Claudio) and Mary Ellen Smith (Kenneth). Grandchildren: Andy Jones (Kendra), Buster Jones (Noelia), Austin Smith (Felecia) and Shannon Pruett (Bryan) and several great-grandchildren.

Vimmajean was a licensed beautician and had her own beauty salon for a number of years. She was also the bookkeeper for H. E. Hunt Masonry Contractor, Inc., the family-owned business.

She was a great seamstress and an amazing cook, best red velvet cake ever!

The Whites loved to explore Texas’ State Parks in their travel trailer and were also avid Square Dancers.

Prior to relocating to Seguin, Texas in 2020 Vimmajean lived in Harlingen for some 50 plus years. She and Wayne were both baptized in the First Baptist Church of La Feria in 1951 and in later years joined Rangerville Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
