William (Bill) Currence, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018. He was 87 years old. He was born on November 4, 1930 to Claude and Veta Currence. He worked as a carpenter for CHAS Bennett Construction Company, and also at Lake Perry Marina and Ron’s Repair. Bill lived in Topeka, Kansas and wintered in Harlingen, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mildred Shy Currence, his two children Patricia and Ronald, 4 grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Knight.
Arrangements are with Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, Harlingen, Texas.
