William Riley Snavely III embarked on a new journey on September 20, 2025, when he was wrapped in the arms of his Heavenly Father, our Savior. As family and friends, we mourn the loss of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, Tre’ (Will) Snavely. However, we do not mourn as those without hope because we know, as followers of Christ, we will see Tre’ again.
Tre’ Snavely was born in Harlingen, Texas on Thursday, June 25,1998 with a vibrant spirit and a natural charm. He lived life boldly and beautifully, never shying away from new experiences. Tre’ packed a lifetime into his short 27 years.
Whether he was setting out on a cruise, discovering new places while traveling, or embracing the magic of Disney, he made every moment an adventure and shared that joy and passion with everyone around him
Tre’ lived life to its fullest. Talented and skilled in many ways, he had a gift for seeing the opportunity to transform something ordinary into something magical. He longed to make each person’s dream and fantasy into reality.
He didn’t just live life—he embraced it with open arms and an unstoppable spirit. Every opportunity to learn, to lead, or to serve others became a stage where his passion and determination could shine. He had a way of diving headfirst into everything he did, not halfway, but all in, pouring his energy, heart, and soul into every moment.
Sports shaped his early years, from the fields and courts of elementary and middle school to the high school games that tested his strength and perseverance. But his love for being involved didn’t stop there. He sang with choirs, lifted voices in praise on worship teams, journeyed on mission trips, stretched his limits in gymnastics, played in the band, led with courage at leadership camps, and played with grit on the football field. Whatever he chose to do, he did with the same fire—fueled by determination, dedication, and an unshakable tenacity.
Yet what made him remarkable wasn’t just how much he accomplished, but how he carried others along with him. He encouraged teammates and inspired those around him to give their best. Every activity was more than a task to complete—it was a chance to grow, to improve, to leave a mark. He didn’t see obstacles as setbacks but as challenges to adapt, overcome, and become stronger.
To him, life wasn’t a checklist of accomplishments—it was a treasure to be experienced fully, a wonder to explore, and a dream worth chasing. He showed us all that when you meet life with open hands and a fearless heart, you can turn even ordinary moments into something unforgettable.
He is survived by his loving parents, William (Bill) and Stacey Snavely; his cherished siblings, Dustyn and Emmalee Snavely; his paternal grandparents, WR and Shirley Snavely; and his maternal grandparents, James and Jane Mays. He is also remembered with love by his uncles and aunts, Butch and Sheri Durham, David and Tracy Looney, Lisa Mays, and Jonathan and Melissa Helstrom; his cousins, Kathryn (Devyn) Ferner, Michelle Durham, Joseph (Onisty) Looney, Madison Looney, and Abigail and Evelyn Helstrom.; as well as many dear friends who were touched by his kindness and light.
Tre’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and adventure. Though his time here was far too short and we wish we could have had more, the impact he made will be felt forever. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him as we treasure the time we had. We do not have to wonder where Tre’ is because he is walking the streets of gold and worshipping our mighty Savior.
Services to celebrate Tre’s life will be announced by his family as we are awaiting his final journey home.
