Raymundo Saldaña

Raymundo Saldaña Fuentes 76, passed peacefully from this life on June 29, 2021 with his family by his side.  He was born to Raymundo Saldaña Cardenas and Margarita Fuentes Flores on November 5, 1944 in Matamoros, Mexico.

Raymundo is preceded in death by his wife Ana Maria Fernandez de Saldaña and parents Raymundo Saldaña Cardenas and Margarita Fuentes Flores.

He is survived by his daughter Dalila Saldaña, grandchildren Gasper Garcia, Klarissa Marie Garcia, Julio Cesar Saldana, Jesus Raymundo Saldaña, Jose Gabriel Saldaña, Jonathan Saldaña, Jovanny Saldaña, and Juan Pablo Saldaña.

The Saldaña family would like to thank Retama Manor Nursing Home in Harlingen and especially Beba Arratia for their loving care.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.  A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 6 o’clock on Thursday evening. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.  Following the Mass, Raymundo will be laid to rest at Los Cuates Cemetery.
